Wretched Flowers, Chainmail Table Lamp I
Loney Abrams and Johnny Stanish founded Wretched Flowers after more than a decade of creative collaboration.
Based in Connecticut, the studio draws from historical ornament, museum archives, and American folk art to create lighting and objects that bring centuries-old techniques into contemporary design. Crossing into the world of fashion, their beaded chainmail pieces were featured in Christopher Esber’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway presentation.
Their Chainmail Table Lamp I, part of the ARTIFACT collection, pairs the interlocking structure of medieval armor with the floral patterning of a woven tapestry. Gold-toned rings are woven using the traditional European 4-in-1 technique, with red sesame jasper beads worked into the metalwork.
Patinated solid brass base, finished in protective wax.
