Casey McCafferty, 001 Dining Table

American artist Casey McCafferty draws from mythology and the natural world, working across wood, stone, and metal to create expressive forms that move between furniture and sculpture.

Largely self-taught, he combines traditional carving techniques with experimentation, allowing the character of his materials to guide the work and leaving room for individual interpretation.

His 001 Dining Table brings this approach to a sculptural form in ash wood, finished in red oil with brass details. Crafted circa 2022.

McCafferty’s exhibitions include Head Hand Foot, his 2024 solo presentation at Gallery FUMI in London, and the gallery’s 2026 group exhibition The Function of Form. His work has also been shown at The Future Perfect and Nino Mier Gallery and is held in the collection of the Odunpazarı Modern Museum in Eskişehir, Turkey.
