Frances Palmer, Seven Spout Diamond Tulipière

Connecticut-based ceramic artist Frances Palmer has spent more than three decades developing a practice in which pottery and botanical inspiration are closely intertwined. Her vessels take shape with flowers in mind, their sculptural forms offering new possibilities for arranging individual stems.

The Seven Spout Diamond Tulipière reinterprets a traditional European flower vessel in handcrafted earthenware.

Her ceramics have been exhibited and sold internationally, and her creative practice is documented in her 2020 book, Life in the Studio: Inspiration and Lessons on Creativity.
