During the 1930s, Halabala created a series of modular designs: the H and E style chairs were constructed from bentwood to create a malleable and elegant look. The curvaceous bentwood H chairs, especially styles H269 and H237, have instantly recognizable exaggerated arms, yet straightforward designs.
