Torch-Cut Brass Pendant Attributed to Tom Greene for Feldman — USA Mid-20th Century
Brutalist brass pendant with hand-worked panels, exposed welded seams, irregular torch-cut perforations, and a naturally varied patina.
Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, California designer Tom Greene created sculptural lighting for Feldman, working primarily in brass. Through torch-cutting, welding, and oxidation, Greene developed expressive forms that embraced the marks and irregularities of hand fabrication.
