Pair of Upholstered Art Deco Block Chairs
Pair of art deco style chairs, circa 1990's, inspired by French design icon Jean-Michel Frank. These box-shaped chairs reflect the multidimensional characteristics of modern lines and silhouettes he was known for. Reupholstered in a green velvet checkered fabric by Pierre Frey, another nod to Michel-Franks's love for bold patterns.
Frank's designs focused on practicality and comfort, as he experimented with a range of materials, textures, and colors in Paris. Much of his work is still coveted today by artists and designers.
