Stephen Wilson Studio, Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Stephen Wilson’s creative process starts with an upcycled luxury item—be it a bag, box, silk scarf, or album—infusing it with bespoke embroidery designs that are carefully drawn, stitched, and assembled by hand.
For his album series, he transforms vintage record sleeves with yarn and photorealistic embroidery, each piece featuring over 200,000 stitches and taking more than 8 hours to complete.
With over 300 unique albums in the collection, each piece merges the worlds of art, fashion, and music.
The seventh studio album by English singer, pianist, and composer Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was released on 5 October 1973.
Presented in acrylic, signed and numbered.
