Designed by Rolf Middelboe and Gorm Lindum for Tranekær Furniture, Denmark, 1970s
Tranekær began production in 1974, inside a former warehouse on the Tranekær Castle estate. The workshop became known for its end-grain mosaic technique—an exacting process that placed the character and construction of wood at the center of the design.
Middelboe and Lindum developed a broader collection of coffee, game, and occasional tables around this signature form of Danish cabinetmaking.
