California-based craftsman Gerald McCabe launched his custom furniture business in the 1950s, designing for brands like Brown Saltman and Glenn of California, while also creating his own lines, Erin Furniture and Orange Crate Modern. 

Known for his precise joinery, and innovative use of materials like wood, glass, and steel, this 1970s coffee table is a striking example of mid-century modern design.

Crafted from a solid slab of shedua wood, this table features two semi-circular tables that can be arranged together or separated for a dynamic look. Supported by sleek lucite panels, giving the illusion that the tops are floating.
