Hayal Pozanti, "20"
Artist Hayal Pozanti is known for her lush, organic forms that unfold like the patterns of nature and currents of the subconscious.
Born in Istanbul but based in Vermont, her work explores the intersection of imagination & nature, presenting a vision that transcends human-centered perspectives.
Over time, her artistic trajectory shifted in response to climate change, and her colorful, organic forms echo the work of Jean Arp and Wassily Kandinsky, both of whom explored universal truths through abstraction.
20 "Average Number Of Minutes A Plastic Bag Is Used Before Being Discarded”, oil stick and acrylic on canvas, 2017.
