American glass artist Dale Chihuly revolutionized color, scale, and form, redefining contemporary glass art. Crafted in Nepal ,hand-knotted in Tibetan wool and silk using a 100-knot cut-pile technique, this rug captures the rhythmic motion of water through petrol blues and cool grays inspired by Chihuly’s rings of molten glass.
Rooted in Venetian influence, where Chihuly first learned Italian glassmaking techniques.
