The 'Serenissimo' is grounded by a powder-coated soft verdigris steel frame with silo-shaped feet juxtaposed with a dramatic turquoise milk glass table surface.
The Vignellis, both architects, influenced internationalist Italian decorative arts by utilizing industrial materials to create space-age and brutalist aesthetics contrasted against vibrant finishes. The duo is credited with bringing a new wave of Italian graphics and furniture to the US in the late 20th century.
